Perrie’s Seafood Grill & Restaurant

The restaurant is based in Naga City, Camarines Sur, The Philippines. The rebrand included a redesign for the logo and menu.

Design Story
Goal:
The rebrand comes after an ownership change, with a target market catering to middle-class to upper-class families in the area.
Approach:
With the intent of uplifting the design style, I had to consider the current concept and the way the business currently operates. It has a paluto (customized cooking) concept where fresh seafood are displayed in a market-like selection for customers to choose.
For the owners to save cost, I decided on a new logo concept that would fit with the current interior design of the restaurant. The use of the rustic red and beige paint colors, with the wooden furniture is an aspect that I considered.
With a specific art style, color combinations, and font style in mind, I used Artificial Intelligence to help research and test varying concepts on fish imagery and element combinations.
Result:
A fresh new look for Perrie’s Seafood Grill that respects the original furniture and interior design. Their area visibility is also increased even from far down the road with a unique Blue Marlin logo greeting potential customers.
